IOSH Working Safely

Course Aims:

This one-day course offers an excellent basis in providing any staff with the knowledge and skills of the essentials of health and safety within the workplace. Everyone at work should have an understanding of why they have a responsibility to 'work safely' and this course provides that.

Delivery:

An experienced professional IOSH trainer will deliver the course. Our trainers are constantly updating their methods and materials keeping abreast of current best practice.

•    Identifying a common range of health and safety hazards present in the workplace.
•    The reasons for workplace accidents and ways to prevent them.
•    Understanding of the importance of using appropriate precautions for specified risks.
•    Learning when to seek advice on workplace precautions.
•    How to assist with risk assessments and why they are important.
•    Understanding the importance of reporting near misses and accidents.
•    The effects of environmental management and how to minimise pollution and waste.
