This nationally accredited course is aimed at anyone working in a role, who wants to learn the basics of health and safety. For those employers requiring CSCS cards this course is accepted as a Level 1 award in health and safety in a construction environment.
How do we approach IOSH Working Safely?
Our course programme employs a variety of teaching techniques to meet the needs of individual delegates. This course programme, approved by the Institute of Occupational Safety and Health (IOSH) follows a set syllabus and contains the most up to date information available including:
- An outline of occupational safety and health
- Defining hazard and risk
- Identifying common hazards
- Improving safety performance
Duration: This course is of 6 hours (one day) duration.
Method of Assessment: Theory and Practical Assessment
Certification: Upon successful completion of the course, candidates will receive an IOSH accredited certificate which is valid for life.
