Course Details & Pre-requisites:
The IOSH Managing Safely course has been designed by one of the most well respected awarding bodies in the U.K to provide line managers with all the tools necessary to effectively manage Health and Safety within their working environment. This course is a great stepping stone for progression onto the NEBOSH range of courses. There are no prerequisites to join this course, but a good understanding of the English language, both written and spoken, would be an advantage.

Course Aims:
To provide the students with the knowledge and skills to carry out Health & Safety in the workplace.
Course Objectives:
By the end of the training session the students will be equipped with the knowledge and skills contained in following 8 Modules:
Module 1 – Introducing Managing Safely
Module 2 – Assessing Risks
Module 3 – Controlling Risks
Module 4 – Understanding your Responsibilities
Module 5 – Identifying Hazards
Module 6 – Investigating Accidents and Incidents
Module 7 – Measuring Performance
Module 8 – Protecting our Environment
Course Duration: 4 Days
Assessment: Written paper consisting of: 22 questions with a mixture of multiple choice and short written answers.
Certificate: IOSH – Managing Safely
Certificate Duration: Lifelong Certificate
Online Training:
Candidates will require:
- A quiet room, free from distractions, to complete the course in
- A form of photo ID
- A laptop/computer with webcam, microphone, speakers and fast internet connection (tablets/smartphones are not suitable)
