IOSH Managing Safely

Introduction:

The course will consist of a power point presentation with audience participation, board game, DVD and quizzes. All delegates will have their knowledge tested at the end of the workshop with a certificate issued to each successful delegate.

- Controlling risks
- Understanding responsibilities
- Understanding hazards
- Investigating incidents
- Measuring performance

On completion of the course, delegates will be able to:

- Communicate to others the importance of safety in the workplace
- Identify workplace hazards and implement control measures
- Monitor safety performance in their workplace
- Carry out investigations to relevant accidents and incidents
