This qualification is offered on behalf of the Department for Transport. You will find this suitable if you wish to enter the profession of International Road Haulage Transport Management
The International Road Haulage CPC is the National & International CPC combined. If you already hold a National CPC certificate you have until 31st December 2012 to sit the International module 6 exam. After this date if you require International CPC you will have to sit the new 10 day course.
Course Content
- Multiple Choice (R1) The multiple choice assessment will be available as a quarterly, paper-based test from March 2012. The test format will be a two hour multiple choice question paper
- Case Study (R2) The new case study assessment will no longer be preceded by a pre-release scenario. Instead, a shorter, more relevant scenario will be issued with the papers at the start of the two hour assessment. This shorter case study will contain no distractions and will only contain information which will enable the candidate to demonstrate application of the knowledge they have acquired.
Assessment & Award
There will be two tests at the end of the course. One will be multi-choice, followed by a 2 hour open book case study scenario based questions.
Duration
The course will run for a total of ten days. The first seven will be detailed tuition of the syllabus, followed by two days of revision and finally the last day will be the tests.
Cost
Typical fees for open courses are £1,100 + VAT however this can vary for in house courses (dependant on location). As part of the fees each candidate will receive the EOS Student notes.
Venue
We run open International CPC courses regularly in our Training Centre in Rainham, Kent.
The course either has new dates in data loading, or is only run as a dedicated or In Company course.
