Course Overview
Course Dates

Aim:

To provide comprehensive refresher training and reassess competency in accordance with the Health and Safety Executive’s guidelines. It is a condition that a valid First Aid at work certificate be produced for inspection on the first day of the course.

Learning Objectives:

Revision of:

- Principles & priorities of first aid
- Casualty assessment
- Practical resuscitation
- Treatment of unconscious casualty
- Wounds, bleeding and shock
- Circulatory conditions
- Burns and scalds
- Fracture management
- Accident reporting
- First aid kits
- Written & practical assessment

Certification

Successful candidates will be issued with a certificate valid for 3 years.

Target Audience

For those who already hold a First Aid at work certificate (issued in the last 3 years) and who require re-qualification to keep their certification valid.

Course Times: 9.30am - 4.30pm*

*Course times will be confirmed in the Joining Instructions once the course has been booked.

The course either has new dates in data loading, or is only run as a dedicated or In Company course.
