Course Overview This CITB Health and Safety Awareness Training Course provides a practical summary of health, safety, welfare and environmental issues identifying individual responsibilities for looking after yourself and others, what the employer’s duties are and what should be done if they think anyone’s health and safety is being put at risk.
There are now 3 steps to gain a labourer Green CSCS Card. This course is the first step and is a requirement to gain a Green CSCS Card the next step is a 45 minute test which can be found on the Construction Industry Training Boards' main web site. Once you have passed this touch screen test, you can apply for your CSCS card.

This course is classroom based. On successful completion of the course a 5 year nationally recognised CITB Health & Safety Awareness certificate will be awarded.
Course Progression The successful completion of this course also opens to the door to progress to the SSSTS or the SMSTS course
