Who Should Attend?

Any staff that need to renew a First Aid at Work certificate.

Aim

Our requalification course allows you to refresh your existing skills and knowledge.

Content

The course content includes recognition and treatment of:

- Blood loss and shock
- Caring for an unconscious casualty
- Performing Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)
- Burning and scalds
- Disorders of the airway
- Poisoning
- Bone injuries
- Major medical conditions

Knowledge

By the end of the course delegates will be able to:

- Record and report accidents and injuries in the workplace (RIDDOR)
- Administer basic life support and put a casualty in the recovery position correctly
- Treat any first aid/emergency situation in the work place

Qualification

First Aid at Work Requalification certificate valid for 3 years. Recognised First Aider for the workplace.
