- Duties of a First aider to include First Aid Kits, PPE, Legal requirement, Reporting procedures, Accident books, Infection control, calling for further help (Ambulance etc)
- Recognising a heart attack / Angina
- Adult CPR / Drowning casualties / Using an AED
- Choking management
- Bleeding management / Hypovolemic shock
- Minor injuries (Grazes, nosebleeds, minor swelling)
- Wounds and dressings
- Burns
- Clinical shock
- Seizures and epilepsy
- Injury Assessment
- Head injury / Stroke
- Eye injury
- Strains and Sprains
- Dislocations and fractures
- Sudden Poisoning
- Temperature related illness
- Crush Injury / Electrical injury
- Illness Assessment
- Respiratory related injury / Illness
- Asthma / hyperventilating/ recognising hypoxia
