Overview

The aim of the First Aid at Work Course is to train selected candidates to the required standard as directed by the Health and Safety Executive in the duties of an emergency first aider.

Content

Upon successful completion of the course candidates will have gained practical skills and knowledge about:
How to recognise the presence of major illnesses
How to provide appropriate first aid to a variety of conditions including heart attack, stroke, epilepsy, asthma and diabetes.
How and when to use an automated external defibrillator (AED)

Summary

Upon successful completion of the course candidates will gain a First Aid at Work certificate recognised by the HSE and valid for three years.

The course either has new dates in data loading, or is only run as a dedicated or In Company course.
