First Aid at Work - 2 Day Refresher Course

Highfield is the leading provider of regulated compliance qualifications in the UK, certificating 350,000 learners a year. First aid at work training is initially valid for three years. This two-day refresher course is designed to be undertaken prior to the expiry date of the original training.

Who Should Attend: 

This trainer-led course is specially designed for those who are first aiders in the workplace and have already had first aid training. This qualification meets the specifications for training emergency first-aiders in those companies that have identified that staff need to be trained to this level within their first-aid needs assessment. Courses are delivered by our experienced tutors, who are practical, matter-of-fact, and hands-on in their approach.


Course Contents: 

The course refreshes all original training and also covers the following topics - 
- Roles and responsibilities of the first aider
- How to assesses an incident
- First aid skills in CPR and use of an AED
- Providing first aid to a casualty who is choking and dealing with external bleeding and hypovolaemic shock 


Certification: 

Recognised by OFQUAL, the CCEA and Qualifications Wales, the Highfield certificate issued upon completion is valid for three more years.
