Course covers the following:
Fire fundamentals, fire prevention, fire emergency, HTM and Fire Code, plus sections on Ward Managers, and Fire Plan Preparation. Includes three missions and a multiple-choice test.
The course is a very comprehensive training module designed to offer an in depth approach to fire safety within a hospital environment, especially the NHS. All aspects of fire safety from prevention to reaction is covered, including instructions to the various types of equipment your staff are likely to find onsite.
There are also added sections to cover Progressive and Horizontal evacuation techniques, as well as special instructions for areas such as ITU etc.
The message throughout is prevention. In The Line Of Fire Hospitals has been a favorite with many Trust Fire Officers for the past several years, the latest version is by far the best ever. Staff training figures would suggest we have helped train over 250,000 NHS staff since the introduction of ITLOF NHS....
The course is also covered by our key elements which come under our brigade approval, making this course very desirable.
