Fire Marshal Training

Fire marshal training equips individuals with the knowledge and skills necessary to effectively manage fire safety within the workplace. This training is essential for those designated as fire marshals or wardens, ensuring they can fulfil their responsibilities proficiently.

The course typically covers a range of topics, including:

•    Fire prevention and containment: Understanding how to identify potential fire hazards and implement measures to prevent fires.
•    Fire detection and awareness: Learning about various fire detection systems and recognising early signs of fire.
•    Emergency evacuation procedures: Developing and executing effective evacuation plans to ensure the safety of all occupants during a fire incident.
•    Roles and responsibilities of a fire marshal: Comprehending the duties assigned to fire marshals, including regular safety checks and leading evacuations.
•    Proper use of fire extinguishers: Gaining hands-on experience with different types of fire extinguishers and understanding their appropriate applications.

The course offers a comprehensive half-day (3-hour) fire marshal course, delivered by professional firefighters with teaching qualifications. 

Participants will receive a Fire Protection Association (FPA) recognised certificate upon successful completion, valid for three years.
