Course Overview
Course Dates

This course concentrates on ensuring that all employees have the necessary information
required to enable them to raise the alarm, evacuate the building, know the different types
of extinguisher, check an area and communicate with those in charge.

Suitable For

All employees especially suited for those employees to be identified as fire marshals, as well
as supervisors and managers.

Aims and Objectives

The course will give the delegates the ability to identify fire hazards, take charge in the
event of a fire and understand the need for fire precautions.

• Prevention of fire
• Good housekeeping
• Duties of a fire marshal / warden
• Classification of extinguishers
• Safe use of fire extinguishers

The course includes a live fire practical session where delegates will receive hands-on
training in the safe use of fire extinguishers

The course either has new dates in data loading, or is only run as a dedicated or In Company course.
