EUSR SHEA Water - Online Classroom

The EUSR SHEA water training course provides a uniform approach to health, safety and environmental awareness across the utilities sector.

Developed in collaboration with the industry this course ensures you will meet the Health and Safety Executive (HSE) guidelines.

Course Information: 

The course follows a modular approach with eight modules in total. Six of the modules are designated as ‘core’ modules, which are pertinent for all utility sectors. The other two modules are specific to the water industry.

The modules covered are:

- Module 1: Understanding our workplace responsibilities
- Module 2: Understanding the effects of our work on the environment
- Module 3: Identifying the controlling risks
- Module 4: Common hazards in the workplace
- Module 5: Occupational health hazards
- Module 6: Responding to emergencies
- Module 7: Sewerage network and process operations
- Module 8: Highway working and excavations

To gain the EUSR SHEA Water registration certificate, candidates must complete all eight modules

Who Should Attend: 

Individuals involved in the operational activities of the water industry who require access to sites, both permanent and temporary, including all levels of operatives, supervisors and management. 

Assessment: 

SHEA assessments are multiple choice and structured so that there is an assessment per module. They can take one module at a time, or all together at the same time

Certification: 

Learners will receive an EUSR photo ID card with the qualification stated on the back. 

SHEA Water EUSR registration is valid for three years. 

The SHEA Water Scheme is partnered with CSCS to allow water industry workers access to construction sites for utilities works with the need for seperate CSCS card.
