EUSR SHEA Telecoms - Online classroom

The EUSR SHEA telecom training course provides a uniform approach to health, safety and environmental awareness for those working on operational sites.

Developed in collaboration with the industry and key stakeholders this course ensures you will meet the Health and Safety Executive (HSE) guidelines.

Course Information: 

The course follows a modular approach with seven modules in total. Six of the modules are designated as ‘core’ modules, which are pertinent for all utility sectors. The other module is specific to the telecoms industry.

The modules covered are:

Module 1: Understanding our workplace responsibilities
Module 2: Understanding the effects of our work on the environment
Module 3: Identifying and controlling risks
Module 4: Common Hazards in the workplace
Module 5: Occupational health hazards
Module 6: Responding to emergencies
Module 7: Working safely underground, in the highway and overhead

To gain the EUSR SHEA Telecom registration certificate, candidates must complete all seven modules

Who Should Attend: 

Individuals involved in the operational activities of the telecoms industry who require access to sites, both permanent and temporary, including all levels of operatives, supervisors and management.

Assessment: 

SHEA assessments are multiple choice and structured so that there is an assessment per module. They can be taken one module at a time, or all together at the same time. 

Certification: 

Learners will receive an EUSR photo ID card with the qualification stated on the back.

SHEA Telecoms EUSR registration is valid for three years.

The SHEA Telecoms Scheme is partnered with CSCS to allow power industry workers access to construction sites for utilities works with the need for a separate CSCS card.
