Course Overview


This one-day SHEA Telecoms scheme is designed for all individuals involved in the operational activities of the telecommunications industry who require access to sites, both permanent and temporary, including all levels of operatives, supervisors and management.

Course Content:


SHEA Telecommunications comprises of seven modules. The six core modules are common to all utility industries and form the basis of health, safety and environmental law and practices. A further one module providing the telecommunications industry specific content, all individuals will need to complete all seven modules to receive the SHEA Telecommunications registration. It is designed to provide evidence that an individual has demonstrated an appropriate level of knowledge and awareness.

 

Assessment

Multiple choice questions after each module.

Certificates


Once the delegate has successfully completed the SHEA Telecoms course and assessment, the results will be submitted to the awarding body and cards will be issued to the delegate in due course.

Certification for this course is valid for 3 years from the date of training. To remain certified in this area, you will need to retake the SHEA Telecoms course before the expiry date on your card.

The scheme is affiliated with the Construction Skills Certification Scheme (CSCS) allowing utility workers access to CSCS controlled sites for purposes of utilities work without the need to hold a separate card.

CSCS affiliated cards carry the CSCS hologram in the top left corner.

The course either has new dates in data loading, or is only run as a dedicated or In Company course.
