Course Overview
This one-day SHEA Power scheme is designed for all persons involved in the operational activities of the electricity transmission and distribution industries who require access to sites, both permanent and temporary, including all levels of operatives, supervisors and management.
Course Content:
The course content and delivery specification has been developed through consultation with the power industry. Training material is produced and managed by EUSR on the industry's behalf.
Assessment
Multiple choice questions after each module.
Certificates
Once the delegate has successfully completed the SHEA Power course and assessment, the results will be submitted to the awarding body and cards will be issued to the delegate in due course.
Certification for this course is valid for 3 years from the date of training. To remain certified in this area, you will need to retake the SHEA Power course before the expiry date on your card.
The scheme is affiliated with the Construction Skills Certification Scheme (CSCS) allowing utility workers access to CSCS controlled sites for purposes of utilities work without the need to hold a separate card. The utilities industries share a common goal and commitment to robust mechanisms that enable all workers to demonstrate health and safety awareness and relevant skills and competences.

Pre-Requisites: There are no formal entry requirements however a basic level of written and spoken English is required.
