EUSR National Water Hygiene - Online Classroom

The EUSR SHEA Water Hygiene training course provides a uniform approach to health, safety and environmental awareness across the utilities sector.

Developed in collaboration with the industry this course ensures you will meet the Health and Safety Executive (HSE) guidelines.

The EUSR SHEA Water Hygiene training course provides a uniform approach to health, safety and environmental awareness across the utilities sector.

Developed in collaboration with the industry this course ensures you will meet the Health and Safety Executive (HSE) guidelines.
The course follows a modular approach with 4 modules in total delivered over 3 hours and are the Water industry equivalent of a food Hygiene certification for candidates who are required to work on the drinking water network. Usually completed in conjunction with SHEA WATER.

The modules covered are:

Module 1: The importance of water
Module 2: Water as a carrier of disease
Module 3: Potential consequences of contamination
Module 4: Preventing contamination 

To gain the EUSR SHEA Water Hygiene registration certification candidates must complete all modules

Who Should Attend: 

Individuals involved in the operational activities of the Water Hygiene industry who require access to sites, both permanent and temporary, including all levels of operatives, supervisors and management.

Assessment: 

SHEA assessments are multiple choice and structured so that there is an assessment consisting of 25 questions taken at the end of the training session.

Certification: 

Learners will receive an EUSR Blue card with the qualification stated on the back.

SHEA Water Hygiene EUSR registration is valid for three years.

The SHEA Water Hygiene Scheme is partnered with CSCS to allow Water Hygiene industry workers access to construction sites for utilities works with the need for a separate CSCS card.
