Aim Of Course

The First Aid course provides learners with the knowledge to administer emergency first aid until fully trained paramedics or ambulance assistance arrives.

Assessments

There will be practical and theoretical assessments throughout the course

Objectives of the course:

Objectives of the course are to give the learner the underpinning knowledge, skills and confidence to be able to deal with the following

Ø Dealing with an unconscious casualty
Ø Basic Life Support protocols
Ø Wounds and Bleeding
Ø Burns and scolds
Ø Extremity Injuries
Ø Unconsciousness
Ø After actions rules and regulations

Ø Introduction and role of First Aider

There will be practical exercises, both interactive and demonstrative to enhance underpinning knowledge.
