Objectives
Candidates will be able to carry out electrical work to comply with the requirements of the Electricity at Work Act 1990. They will also be able to demonstrate that they can undertake simple wiring tasks and test that the work is safe to put back into service.

- Other types of tests and IP ratings
Exam Preparation
Assessment – practical and theory exam.
Outcomes
City & Guilds or EAL Achievement and progression onto Level 3 Electro Technical NVQs or Diploma qualifications.
Delegate Preparation
There are no formal entry requirements for this qualification though candidates should have the potential to achieve the qualification unit, therefore must hold the 17th Edition and be working in the electrical industry with a level of experience.
