Who Should Attend?
An essential half-day course for those who are responsible for routine maintenance work as part of their job.
Aim
To educate candidates in safe working practices whilst carrying out routine electrical jobs involving Plugs, Fluorescent Strip Lights etc.
Objectives
By the end of the programme delegates will:
· Understand how to keep themselves safe when carrying out routine tasks as detailed below
· Be able to safely change lamps and starters
· Be able to identify the correctly rated fuse for different appliances
· Be able to identify potential faults and problems with electrical appliances/equipment
· Be able to wire a 3-pin plug

· The dangers associated with electricity
· Prevention of electrical incidents
· Safe working practices
· Wiring 3 Pin Plugs
· Replacing Damaged Light Diffusers
· Replacing Fluorescent Strip Lights
· Renew Starters
· Identify Faults in Cables for electrical appliances/equipment
