Course Overview

This course covers the modules Drivers’ Hours & Working Time Directive and Vehicle & Load Handling Systems.

Who Should Attend?

All HGV / LGV drivers of vehicles over 7.5 tonnes who are required to be Driver CPC qualified by September 2014.

Course Content

- Drivers’ Hours & Working Time Directive
By the end of this module you will be able to recall and discuss the regulations regarding EU Drivers’ Hours and the Working Time Directive within the context of your day-to-day duties.

- Vehicle & Load Handling Systems
By the end of this session you will be able to discuss sympathetic use of vehicle braking systems and safe and appropriate usage of vehicle load handling aids.

Duration: 1 day

Maximum number of delegates: 12

Final qualification: JAUPT Approved Driver CPC

Additional Information:

All drivers who attend this course will qualify for 7 hours of the required 35 hours needed to complete the driver CPC qualification.

The course either has new dates in data loading, or is only run as a dedicated or In Company course.
