Course Overview:
Duration:
The duration of a Level 3 NVQ varies depending on the candidate, their level of experience and the work they are undertaking. We advise that the majority of NVQ Level 3’s are completed between 6 and 9 months from induction.
Who Should Attend?
Any person or employee, that works as a foreman or in a supervisory capacity and needs to obtain a CSCS card and a nationally recognised qualification in this trade.
Training Course Content:
Mandatory Units:
-Confirm Work Activities and Resources for the Work.
-Develop and Maintain Good Working Relationships.
-Confirm the Occupational Method of Work.
-Implement and Maintain Health, Safety Welfare.
-Co-ordinate and Organise Work Operations.
Optional Units
Plus two of the following:
- Allocate and Monitor the Use of Plant and Equipment.
-Monitor Progress Against Work Schedules.
-Confirm Work Meets Quality Standards.
-Implement Procedures to Support Team Performance.
-Co-ordinate and Confirm the Dimensional Requirements of the Work.
-Contribute to the Circulation of Information.
Pre-Requisites:
The candidate must have previously successfully completed a Supervisor’s Health and Safety touch screen test within the past two years.
The candidate must work on site as a Supervisor.
Training Course Methods
The NVQ will be assessed over approximately six on-site assessments whilst the candidate carries out their day to day work. Evidence will be collected in the form of photographs, method statements and professional discussions by your dedicated Assessor.
Additional Information:
Please note that the successful completion of this course will result in candidates receiving an accredited certificate. Candidates will then need to apply for the CSCS Gold Card directly with the awarding body.
