Course Overview
Course Dates

Entry Requirements:

- Delegates must have completed the CSCS Health, Safety & Environmental Test for Operatives within the past two years.
-Good understanding of the written and spoken English language.

Course Contents:

- Operate the excavator 360 degree tracked safely and productively
- Fit and operate ancillary equipment
- Site and machine safety and efficiently
- Carry out minor adjustments and routine servicing procedures
- Understand the capabilities, purposes and limitations of each machine
- Follow all necessary safety precautions
- Interpret the information provided by level pegs and profiles
- Be aware of the necessary routine adjustments and service procedures, and carry them out
- Work to levels with the aid of laser equipment

Assessment/Certification:

In order to achieve the CPCS 'Red' Trained Operators Card, delegates must attend four days learning through a mix of teaching and practical exercises along with one day of assessments including the CPCS technical tests.
