Course Dates

All candidates must have passed the CITB Construction Skills Health & Safety Test within 2 years to attend the course.

Course overview

• Conduct pre-operational checks to all lifting accessories and equipment

• Procedures for moving equipment

• LOLER and PUWER regulations

• To control the load during lifting operations

• Roles and responsibilities of personnel involved with lifting operations

• Checking documentation and certification for lifting equipment

• Slinging techniques

• Communication through signalling with the crane operator

• Transferring and positioning of various loads

The course either has new dates in data loading, or is only run as a dedicated or In Company course.
