Course Overview
Course Dates

All candidates must have passed the CITB Construction Skills Health & Safety Test within 2 years to attend the course.

Course overview

• Conduct pre-operational checks to equipment

• Set the roller for site travel

• Prepare an area for compacting e.g traffic/personnel management

• Prepare the roller for compacting duties

• Use the roller to compact to supported and unsupported edges

• Work to dimensions and a radius

• Recognise compacted and uncompacted areas

• Roll material to simulate iron works

• Set the machine to vibrate • Manoeuvre the vehicle in tight spaces and confined spaces

• Conduct isolation procedures

The course either has new dates in data loading, or is only run as a dedicated or In Company course.
