Course Dates

Who Should Attend:

The Novice course is suitable for operatives who have basic or no experience operating a Telescopic Handler.

Upon completion of this course, delegates will be able to:

Operate the machine for all normal tasks
Decide whether a particular load is safe to lift
Carry out routine servicing procedures and maintenance as necessary, in accordance with the manufacturer's instructions
Know how the machine works and the maintenance requirements involved
Understand the effect of load, size, weight, gradients and ground conditions upon machine stability
Know how to load, store and transport representative materials
Understand the basic construction of pallets

Certification:

Upon successful completion of the CPCS Theory and Practical test, the trainer will apply for the CPCS Red Trained Operators card which will be valid for 2 years

Pre-requisites:

In order to attend, delegates must have completed the CSCS Health, Safety & Environmenta Test for Operatives within the past 2 years

The course either has new dates in data loading, or is only run as a dedicated or In Company course.
