Course Overview
Course Dates

Entry Requirements:

All delegates must have completed the CSCS Health, Safety & Environmental Test for Operatives within the past two years. They must also have a good understanding of the written and spoken English language.

Course Contents:

- Operate the machine for all normal tasks
- Decide whether a particular load is safe to lift
- Carry out routine servicing procedures and maintenance as necessary, in accordance with the manufacturer's instructions
- Know how the machine works and the maintenance requirements involved
- Understand the effect of load, size, weight, gradients and ground conditions upon machine stability
- Know how to load, store and transport representative materials
- understand the basic construction of pallets

Assessment/Certification:

In order to achieve the CPCS 'Red' Trained Operators Card, delegates must successfully complete three days learning through a mix of teaching and practical exercises along with a one day assessment including the CPCS technical tests.

Additional Information:

Delegates will need to bring;

- Photographic ID (I.e Passport or Driving Licence)
- National Insurance Number
- Site PPE including eye and ear protection

The course either has new dates in data loading, or is only run as a dedicated or In Company course.
