CPCS Forward Tipping Dumper (A09) Course Content
· Operate the machine to a minimum standard
· Fit and operate ancillary equipment
· Site the machine safely and efficiently
· Know which minor adjustments and routine servicing procedures are necessary, and be able to carry them out
· Prepare the machine for travelling on the public highway
· Understand the capabilities, purposes, and limitations of each machine
· Apply all necessary safety precautions
· Understand how diesel engines work and how various parts of the machine operate.
Entry requirements
Learners must have passed the Operatives Health, Safety and Environment Test within the last 2 years, prior to course start date.
Good understanding of spoken and written English
Assessment
Mixture of classroom-based teaching and practical exercises followed by one day assessment - CPCS technical tests.
Certification
Learners will receive a Red CPCS Trained Operator Card on passing the CPCS technical tests, valid for two years.
