CPCS Training (A09) - Forward Tipping Dumper Course (Wheeled) - Foundation/Novice

This course is for anyone who requires training in operating a Forward Tipping Dumper or anyone who has experience but wants to achieve a CPCS Red Trained Operator Card.
 
 

Candidates do not need to have undertaken any previous training.
 
On successful completion of the course candidates will be able to:
 
- Operate the machine to a minimum standard

- Fit and operate ancillary equipment

- Site the machine safely and efficiently

- Know which minor adjustments and routine servicing procedures are necessary, and be able to carry them out

- Prepare the machine for travelling on the public highway

- Understand the capabilities, purposes and limitations of each machine

- Apply all necessary safety precautions

- Understand how diesel engines work and how various parts of the machine operate
 

Units of study/what is involved?

- Theory Test  a professional discussion carried out on a one-to-one basis with the CPCS tester.

- You must pass this test in order to take the practical test.

- Practical Test.

Entry Requirements

You will need to have passed your Health Safety and Environment test within the last two years. Good understanding of spoken and written English.
