Course Overview
Course Dates

All candidates must have passed the CITB Construction Skills Health & Safety Test within 2 years to attend the course.

Course overview

• Conduct pre-operational checks to equipment

• Prepare vehicle for site and road travel

• Manoeuvre the vehicle around chicanes in forward and reverse

• Traverse over varying terrains

• Position the dumper to receive loads

• Discharge a load and create a stockpile

• Travel up and down inclines and perform uphill/downhill starts both laden and unladen

• Understand working the dangers of working alongside various other equipment and hazards

• Conduct isolation procedures

The course either has new dates in data loading, or is only run as a dedicated or In Company course.
