Level 2 Award in Control of Substances Hazardous to Health (COSHH):

The purpose of the qualification is to provide learners with the knowledge to work safely with hazardous substances.

The course is aimed at anyone who works with hazardous substances. This includes industries such as education, manufacturing, health and social care, cleaning, offices, military, industry etc.

Course Duration:

One full day

Course Programme:

-Understand the law relating to hazardous substances in the workplace
- Understand how risk assessments contribute to the safe use of hazardous substances in the workplace
- Understand the precautions and procedures necessary to ensure the risk associated with hazardous substances are properly controlled

Certification:

To achieve the certificate, candidates need to:
-Complete an exam comprising of multiple choice questions

This qualification is valid for 3 years.

Drinks are available, free of charge, throughout the day.
Lunch is not provided but there is a reasonably priced café on site.
