Aims And Objectives

To provide delegates with the knowledge and practical experience needed for entering a confined space, including the use of escape breathing apparatus in an emergency situation.

Course Content

- Confined space legislation
- Risk assessments
- Atmospheric hazards and gas detection
- Different types of RPE
- Care and use of PPE
- Access methods
- Use of tripod and winch
- Emergency procedures
- Self rescue

Certification

3 years (awarded after successful course completion)

Additional Information

Note: Delegates need to wear suitable clothing for this course and bring their own PPE wear. It is also a requirement for delegates to be clean shaven.

The course either has new dates in data loading, or is only run as a dedicated or In Company course.
