The Medium Risk Confined Space and Entry Controller Course is the ideal training for anyone working in a medium risk environment. It is a two-day training course that includes practical elements and is available to complete as a public and in-house course.

You will learn how to use the equipment and tools safely, how to recognise an emergency and how to deal with it.

Individuals who work in a confined space where they may require escape breathing apparatus, or enter the space using manual or mechanical access equipment should attend this course.

Our experienced trainer will teach you how to prepare to work in, enter and exit a medium risk confined space and includes entry control.

With the knowledge gained from this confined space course, you will be able to keep yourself and other workers safe on the job.

Course Contents:

- Prepare to work safely in medium risk confined spaces. Enter and exit a confined space safely use equipment and tools safely Follow working procedures and work safely.
- Understand the principles of working in medium risk confined spaces
- Understand entry controller duties and responsibilities
- Understand standard protocols for working in medium risk confined spaces

Assessment:

Delegates will need to pass a written test and a practical assessment to pass this course and receive certification.

Certification:

Certification lasts for 3 years

Entry Requirements:

The minimum entry requirement is a good understanding of spoken and written English as no additional help can be given during the exam.
