Who Is The Qualification For?

This course is for those working in a high risk environment and includes preparing to work safely, entering and exiting high risk confined spaces safely, following procedures and dealing with emergencies.

This Qualification Covers

- Legislation relevant to confined spaces
- Hazards and their Controls
- Safe systems of Work
- Personal protection
- Gas Monitoring
- Escape and Working Duration Breathing Apparatus
- Access & Egress
- Prepare to enter, safe entry and exit, use equipment safely, follow procedures, deal with emergencies.

Course Requirements

All candidates wishing to take a City and Guilds confined space qualification should be a minimum of 16 years old and be medically fit to enter high risk confined spaces and wear breathing apparatus.

Certification

Delegates who successfully complete this course of instruction will be awarded a City & Guilds Certificate.
