CISRS Scaffolder - Part 1

Pre-requisites

Delegate must have held a CISRS COTS card for a minimum of 3 months. Please provide a photo of the card. You need to have completed a CITB Health, Safety & Environmental Touchscreen test within 2 years of application or (have a recognised exemption).

Who is it For?

A Scaffold labourer who are looking to progress in their qualification as a scaffolder.

A CISRS Part 1 Scaffolding training course includes:

• Health & safety awareness
• Fall prevention training (SG4)
• Stability, ties and anchors (including TG4)
• Gin wheels, ropes, knots & hitches
• Interpretation of drawings
• Independent tied scaffold
• Putlog scaffold tube and fitting
• Static tower scaffolds
• Birdcage scaffolds
• Alterations to scaffolds
• TG20 stair access
• Mobile aluminium tower training for scaffolders (MATS)
• Practical & written assessment

Certificate

Certification: 

Upon successful completion, delegates will achieve a Trainee Scaffolder card which is valid for 18 months. Within this time, delegates will need to gain further site experience and complete the CISRS Part 2 course to achieve their second Trainee card.
