Attendees
Management / Supervision who are responsible for inspecting scaffolds and completing reports in accordance the Work at Height Regulations.
Objectives
To give attendees the knowledge to enable them to understand how to inspect basic scaffolding structures in line with the requirements of the Work at Height Regulations.
Certification
Successful delegates of this scaffold inspection course will receive a CISRS completion certificate, and we will apply for the CISRS Basic Scaffold Inspection card on the delegate’s behalf.

Criteria
CISRS would expect delegates to have awareness and experience of scaffolding structures. Examples could include:
• Delegate has held a CISRS card for less than 2 years
• Delegate has relevant industry experience and knowledge of scaffolding (e.g. Site Managers/ Agents, Engineers or H&S Professionals).
• Delegate has previously attended a Scaffold Appreciation/Awareness Course (1 Day)
• Delegate has previously attended a Scaffold Inspection Course
The following evidence is required to confirm that the above criteria can be met:
• Delegates must provide a CV confirming they have worked with scaffolds for a minimum of 2 years and hold a valid CITB Health and Safety Test (taken within 2 years of application)
or
• CISRS Scaffold Awareness Certificate and hold a valid CITB Health and Safety Test (taken within 2 years of application) OR recognised CISRS exemption
or
• Copy of Advanced Scaffolder or Part 2 Scaffolder Card and hold a valid CITB Health and Safety Test (taken within 2 years of application) OR recognised CISRS exemption
