The CCNSG Safety Passport Scheme is endorsed by ECITB member organisations including clients from the oil, gas, power and engineering manufacturing sectors where holding a current passport is a requirement to work on site. It is also supported by contractors, including the Engineering Construction Industry Association (ECIA).
The aim of the CCNSG Safety Passport National course is to provide a basic knowledge of health and safety to enable delegates, after appropriate site induction, to work on site more safely with lower risk to themselves and others.
The course is required for all contractors that go to do work on sites where the passport is required, including all trades, self-employed and employed workers through to directors.
The CCNSG Safety Passport National course is designed to enable those working on host sites to gain valuable information that will help keep them and the site safe and healthy. The range of hazards included is designed to cover hazards relating to the delegates’ own work and to enable them to have greater awareness of the hazards and risks of those created by other workers on site who might inadvertently be putting them at risk. The course considers safe behaviour at work, safe systems of work, safe place of work, safe problems and solutions.
