Course Start Time: Delegates must arrive by 8am
Employers are required to make sure that employees receive adequate information, instruction and training in the risks associated with asbestos, if they are likely to come across it in their working environment. Candidates will gain the required knowledge on asbestos awareness and will be aware of their role in the management of asbestos.
Pre-requisites: There are no prerequisites for this qualification.

- What asbestos is
- Where asbestos comes from
- The health risks associated with asbestos
- Possible locations of asbestos
- Emergency procedures
Assessment:
Candidates will be required to demonstrate an adequate understanding of the subject to the trainer in order to complete this course.
