Our Administering Medication training course is aimed at staff working within a residential or domiciliary care setting that need to safely administer medicine. This course considers Level 1 and Level 2 administration.

How do we approach medication training?
Delegates are informed of content of policies, procedures and administration recording practices using a variety of teaching techniques to meet the needs of individual delegates and includes the following:
- Legislation
- Levels of medication administration
- Types and classification of medication
- Storage and disposal
- Administration of medicine
- Supporting self-administration
- Supporting independence and choice

Method of Assessment: Theory and Practical Assessment
Course Materials and Certification:
We’ll provide delegates with a variety of printed course materials including workbooks and handouts. On successful completion of this course delegates will receive a printed course certificate.
