Our courses are delivered by Registered Nurses who hold adult teaching qualifications supported by a professional qualification and considerable, hands on practical experience which is reflected in our grounded, pragmatic approach.

Our Administration of Medicines to Children training course is particularly suited to staff working in the education, childcare and early years sectors and similar environments that may be required to safely administer medicine or assist children to take their own medication. This course considers Level 1 and Level 2 administration.
How do we approach medication training?
Delegates are informed of content of policies, procedures and administration recording practices using a variety of teaching techniques to meet the needs of individual delegates and includes the following:
- Review of current practice
- Legislation
- Types and classification of medication
- Storage and disposal
- Administration of medicine
- Recording administration
- Supporting self-administration
- Practical advice and guidance
- Plenty of opportunity to ask questions
