EUSR Safety Passport Scheme Courses
The EUSR Passport Scheme consists of a range of entry level training courses for those wishing to work in the energy and utilities sector. They provide a uniform approach to health, safety and environmental awareness training across a range of industry types working in this sector. There are different modules within the EUSR training scheme, including the SHEA Core Module and SHEA Sector Modules.

CISRS Scaffolding Courses
The CISRS (Construction Industry Scaffolders Record Scheme) range of courses form a training and certification scheme for scaffolders to ensure all delegates know how to work safely with scaffolding and access equipment. CISRS courses are the recognised qualification for anyone working in the UK scaffolding industry.
Course options in the CISRS Scheme include:
• Scaffolding Awareness – a 1 day course that does not lead to a CISRS Card.
• COTS (Construction Operative Training Course Specification) course – for labourers or trainees.
• CISRS Scaffold - Part 1 & 2
- CISRS Part 1 - This is an initial 10-day programme for Trainee Scaffolders who want to progress to a Scaffolders card.
- CISRS Part 2 - This is a 10-day second stage programme for Trainee Scaffolders who want to progress to a Scaffolders card.
Once a delegate has passed Parts 1 & 2 AND gained a minimum of 6 months on the job experience, they can sit the COSRS 1 Day Skills Test.
• CISRS Advanced Scaffolder Courses – 10-day courses for existing Scaffold card holders. Successful completion of this means delegates can move to take the CISRS 2 Day Skills Test to obtain the Advanced Scaffolder Card.
• Refresher options – these exist for both the Scaffold and Advanced Scaffold courses.
• Scaffold Supervisors – a 5 day course for Site Managers, Supervisors or Contracts Managers who are in charge of scaffolding contractors. There is also a Refresher option for this.

CCNSG – Safety Passport Scheme
The Client Contractor National Safety Group (CCNSG) has developed a Safety Passport Scheme for site work to help site personnel and contractors’ personnel to work more safely with lower risk to themselves and others.
Courses in this category include:
• The National Course - a two-day course for basic site safety.
• The Renewal Course - one-day refresher course for those who have already passed the CCNSG National Course
• The Leading a Team Safely Course (LATS) - one-day course suitable for all who are working in a supervisory role. All delegates must also hold a current and valid CCNSG Safety passport.
CITB Courses
The CITB administer the Site Safety Plus scheme; this includes not only SMSTS (Site Management Safety Training) but also SSSTS (Site Supervisor Safety Training), Health and Safety Awareness, Temporary Works training and SEATS (Site Environmental Awareness training).
As a whole, Site Safety Plus courses provide the construction industry with a suite of courses for health and safety awareness and career development to help maintain a safe workforce. Some of the most recent to be introduced on our website include:
We also offer the full spectrum of CITB Online Classroom courses. These were first introduced in 2020 following the COVID-1 pandemic but proved so popular they have become a staple of the CITB range.
CPCS Courses
The courses listed below are part of the existing CPCS (Construction Plant Competence Scheme) offering. There are a number of other CPCS courses that include Health and Safety training as part of their inherent offering. The two below are some of the most recent to be included in our line-up.
• CPCS A61 – Appointed Persons (Lifting Operations) Course – designed for those who are appointed with the day-to-day responsibility for planning lifting operations. Ensuring safety is paramount in this course alongside compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.
• CPCS A62 – Crane Supervisor Course – for those who supervise lifting operations such as Singer Signallers, Supervisors and Managers. Course content focuses on how to safely supervise a lifting operation to ensure compliance with the law and ensure the health and safety of all employees.
First Aid Courses
We offer a wide range of First Aid courses for individuals and for those representing a business. The courses listed below are some of the latest we have added, however we do also offer courses including paediatric first aid, trauma and casualty care and requalification courses.
• First Aid - Emergency & Appointed Person – this category includes courses for appointed persons and those who need to deliver emergency first aid. Course content includes helping casualties in various stages of distress including unconsciousness and seizures.
• First Aid at Work - Qualified First Aider – these courses are designed to provide first aiders with the skills to give life support, diagnose and treat injuries and maintain care and comfort for casualties.
• Mental Health - Mental health courses cover a wide spectrum of areas including Stress, Wellbeing and Dementia in a range of workplaces. These are key to ensure that all workers feel supported.
IOSH Training Courses
IOSH (Institution of Occupational Safety and Health) training courses offer health and safety for employees, managers, supervisors and team leaders covering everything from the basics to managing health and safety policies and compliance. We offer both in person and e-learning IOSH courses; those listed below are some of the most recent added to our website:
• IOSH Working Safely - an introduction to work place health and safety for workers within any industry sector.
• IOSH Managing Safely - geared towards managers who have day to day health and safety responsibilities in the areas they control. An excellent primer or anybody that wants to learn more about managing safely in the work place.
• IOSH – Leading Safely - aimed at senior management and those in a leadership role to improve health and safety awareness.
• IOSH Safety - Senior Executives & Directors - provides directors, owners, senior managers and executives with an understanding of the moral, legal and business case for proactive health and safety management and to give guidance on effective risk management.
IOSH – Managing Occupational Health and Wellbeing - aimed at managers and those in a supervisory role to provide managers and supervisors with the skills to assist in maintaining and improving health and productivity within the workplace.
IPAF Courses
We offer a wide range of IPAF courses in our Working at Heights section. These courses have been designed for people who want to work at height using powered access equipment (also known as MEWPs).
Not all of the courses in the IPAF line up are focused on health and safety although this is a key topic throughout; of the courses we have listed, those most concerned with health and safety are:
• IPAF Safety Harness Use and Inspection Training – focused on the safe selection, inspection and use of a harness and associated equipment safely when using a MEWP.
• IPAF MEWPs for Managers - aims to instruct managers, foremen, or supervisors on what is needed to prepare for and safely co-ordinate various types of Mobile Elevating Work Platforms within their control.
• IPAF Loading and Unloading Training Courses - aimed at ensuring those involved in loading, transportation, and unloading of plant machinery have health and safely in mind at all times.

PASMA Courses
Prefabricated Access Supplier and Manufacturers Association (PASMA) courses form the PASMA training program aimed at the safe assembly, use, inspection and dismantling of mobile access towers.
