If you are thinking of booking a training course, or have already booked, please read our Training Guidelines for Attendees below:
Please ensure you read your booking confirmation thoroughly, as this will contain the details of the course you have booked. If there are any problems, please let us know straight away.
Once the booking has been confirmed, the Training Provider who will be handling the course will take over. They will send out joining instructions to you directly. Please read them; if you do not have these in good time before the start date, please let us know.
We ask all attendees to ensure that they can attend the course in full, as many of the accredited courses have a mandatory minimum learning hours requirement.
All persons attending courses, whether online or in person, must display courteous and respectful behaviour towards all others present on the course, including the Trainer(s).
Each Training Provider will have their own guidelines for what is classed as “acceptable behaviour”, but in general, we ask all attendees and Trainers to be courteous to all others.
Safety is paramount at all times; some courses that we offer do involve the use of heavy plant, tools, PPE and related accessories, so safety must be kept in mind!
Please ensure you listen to your Trainer(s) at all times.
If you need to cancel the booking, please notify us directly, by email, as soon as possible – we will need:
· Your name
· The booking reference(s)
We are unable to process verbal cancellations.
If a Training Provider has to cancel a course, which is rare but can happen, they have a commitment as part of the T&Cs they agreed with us at BookmyCourse to rearrange for another time and date that is:
· Acceptable to both parties
· The same value as the original booking
This is not always possible, and in this case, if a resolution cannot be reached, BookmyCourse will reimburse the value of the booking in full and without delay.
If you have any pre-existing health conditions that may impact on how well you can participate in the course, please let the Training Provider know prior to course commencement. If any medical issues arise during the course, please again let the Training Provider know immediately.
On completion of a course, regardless of whether you passed successfully, you may receive a QA questionnaire or a brief telephone call from us at BookmyCourse. This is an essential component of our continual improvement program. We want to know about your course experiences, good or bad and we will ensure that Training Providers are aware of the feedback we receive.
Please do not ask BookmyCourse to issue any certification upon successful completion of a course. This is all undertaken by the Training Provider who ran the course. Certification is usually issued within 4-6 weeks of the completion date, but please do let us know if it has not arrived in this timeframe, as we can then get involved.
Please note that, in some instances, successfully achieved certification will be sent directly to the candidate rather than the booker of the course, in accordance with the guidelines of accrediting bodies.
